Denewood Hotel

We received a huge welcome from Sara and Kevin and we immediately felt like family. The hotel, bedrooms, breakfast room, lounge and the unexpected private bar were first class. We stayed for five nights and could not have been happier. The breakfasts were cooked to perfection, with a good variety of choices and the coffee was sensational. Our time with Sara and Kevin was an absolute highlight of our time in the UK.

My friends and I were cycling around the island and stayed here for a night. The hotel was super clean, and our room was cozy and comfy, just what we needed after a long ride. It's a great place to relax and recharge! Breakfast was tasty and filling. The location is awesome too, just a short walk to the beach. The hosts Sara and Kevin are super friendly and helpful. They really made us feel welcome.

Stayed overnight as a last min decision. The room was very clean and all the needs were met. I enjoyed the stay.

Recently spent a stay there and found facilities excellent, food very tasty with plenty of choices. Hosts Sara and Kevin very friendly,nothing too much which created a lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting the island.

The Deanwood Hotel, Sandown; absolutely wonderful on every level. We were met with such a warm and genuinely friendly welcome that we instantly felt at home. Every detail here shows real care and thought — it’s clear that Kev and Sara want their guests to be truly comfortable. Our room was beautifully and tastefully decorated whilst offering true comfort and also practicality. The beds were sumptuous, the type you never want to leave. We loved the practical extras, too: like handy hooks in just the right places, lovely mugs that were a pleasure to drink from, and a hot water bottle for those chillier evenings. It’s these thoughtful details that really set the Deanwood apart. Breakfast was another highlight — beautifully cooked, generous, and full of delicious options. Everything was fresh, perfectly prepared, and served with that same warm, welcoming hospitality that ran through our stay. When we departed, we found that Kevin had warmed our walking boots for us so they were a pleasure to put on. Have you ever had that experience in another hotel? In short, The Deanwood Hotel is a delightful, comfortable, and genuinely special place to stay. Every element was brilliant. We left feeling relaxed, well-fed, and very well cared for. We can’t wait to return! I’ve travelled extensively for both work and leisure and this is genuinely one of the best places I’ve stayed in my life.

I satayed here a couple of weeks ago nothing was to much hassle for Sarah and Kevin and there staff members who were all so polite. The rooms were clean and got serviced everyday, the beds were amazingly comfortable and me and my husband had an amazing nights sleep. Would recommend 100% if your looking to visit the Isle of Wight.

Big thank you to Sara and Kevin for making me so welcome. I was here for just one night for work, but I’ll definitely be back. Very close to the beach, with some great places to eat nearby. They also do a great breakfast that really set me up for the day, so good that I added some photos! Highly recommended.
